Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, energetic environmental scientist, geologist, or engineer who has 2 or more years of field experience collecting samples and writing technical client assessment reports to support our client in the Boston area.
Job Description:
- Conduct and prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and other environmental reports
- Conduct Phase II ESA field investigation activities, including environmental sampling (soil, groundwater, soil gas, and indoor air)
- Compile and review laboratory and field data
- Prepare tables, figures, and boring logs for inclusion in technical client-facing reports
- Assist with scheduling, coordination, and oversight of subcontractor project activities
- Prepare and implement Health and Safety Plans for site visits
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, or related environmental field required.
- 2 years of professional experience conducting field work for environmental assessment and remediation projects
- Working knowledge of ASTM assessment standards
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong technical report writing skills with experience contributing content to client facing reports
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite required. Familiarity with CAD, and/or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) programs a plus
- Ability/willingness for frequent national travel for field work. Valid driver’s license is required
