Genius BOS Technology India Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of GameChange Energy Company USA, is establishing a transformer manufacturing plant in Taloja, near Mumbai. Our corporate office is located at 230 East Ave Suite, Norwalk, CT 06855, USA.
We have a skilled team in both India and the USA, focusing on the design, manufacture, and supply of medium voltage power transformers ranging from 500 KVA to 25,000 KVA, with voltage classes from 11 kV to 132 kV. We adhere to international standards such as IEEE and IEC, showcasing our commitment to quality, environmental responsibility, and safety.

Purchase Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop a purchasing strategy.
- Reviews and processes purchase orders.
- Manages other members of the purchasing team.
- Maintains records of goods ordered and received.
- Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers.
- Builds and maintains relationships with vendors.
- Selects prospective vendors and negotiates contracts.
- Evaluates vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price.
- Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfillment of Production Plan.
- Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services.
- Coordinates with team to control & monitor inventory and determine supply needs.
- Prepare
- Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems when they arise.
- Keeps up with trends in procurement as per LME and other international trends for CRGO & Oil.
- Travels to vendor locations for follow up if required.
- Stays current with purchasing technology trends and oversees purchase and implementation, as necessary.
- Participate & present in audits and coordinate to close all NC’s if any.
Purchase Engineer Required Skills & Experience:
- Preferably Engineering Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with Masters or PG MBA in SCM.
- Transformer working background preferred.
- 15 years of experience in Purchasing where in minimum 5 years in the position of Manager or Team Lead.
- Familiar to ERP or other software.
