Are you our next colleague?
We are looking for an HR generalist to support the organization and leadership in all HR related processes and activities. You will take responsibility for some processes, in collaboration and with support from a small team around you.
We offer you
- An opportunity to take ownership of and lead HR processes, building on a strong corporate support structure.
- An international and dynamic work environment in an ambitious “start-up” setting with the necessary support and financial back-up to succeed.
- Room to shape the role and grow your career through professional and personal development.
- Be a part of a business for the future and join us on an exciting journey!
About the job and your team
You will contribute with your professionalism and with whom you are as a human being. We bring our whole selves to work, and in the People function we should be role models and advocates for this. Hydro Rein is a truly diverse organization – we are a bit more than a hundred people, more than 20 nationalities. We have full gender balance in our leadership, diversity is not primarily a goal, it is in our DNA. It is what we do and live every day. Doesn’t mean it's not challenging at times, but first and foremost we believe it is fundamental to our success.
As with all HR roles there will be a balance between the operational and administrative tasks, but we really want you to enjoy what you do and do most of what you do best. Therefore, the role will change as we work to find out how we best can build on strengths within the team, whilst of course still being excellent in whatever needs to be done.
These are some key deliveries:
- Contribute to facilitating and developing purposeful people processes.
- Take lead on training and development in collaboration with the great resources and competence available in Hydro, external partners and internal resources.
- Work with managers to understand operational priorities and advise by offering HR expertise, methods and tools.
- Deploy People/HR strategies, policies, guidelines and initiatives.
- Ensure that resources are aligned to business plans with effective manning and training strategies.
- Facilitate processes related to project organization and rotation/mobility.
- Contribute to the effective use of HR tech.
- Provide advice on employee relations or performance issues.
Who are you?
We believe you are at your best when you work with people in a collaborative setting, which is very much the case in Hydro Rein. They seek your advice and characterize you as collaborative, trustworthy and knowledgeable.
You are triggered by delivering results and meeting customer expectations, setting high standards while achieving set goals.
As we are a growing company in a developing industry, we also think that you adapt and respond well to change, being open to new ideas and showing sensitivity to different cultures.
Your qualifications and skills
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as an HR generalist, ideally with an interest or some exposure to learning and development – an area of great importance to us.
- Ability to build trustful relations and communicate efficiently with different stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
It would be great if you brought experience from using AI in your HR work, to be a promoter and facilitator of this within the People team and the wider organization.
It would be very valuable to have experience from international organizations. We believe it is easier to see the value of diversity and the beauty of cross boarder collaboration if you have been in a context where that was part of your day. Through that you will also have experienced what challenges like time difference and language can make, and how to overcome them.
