What we’re looking for
We are looking for a growth-minded Sales Development Representative who will help us scale international sales and ensure strong customer engagement. Our ideal candidate will take ownership of the outreach strategy and is excited by the opportunity that ambiguity creates. As a startup, it is imperative that our team be adaptable as we continuously improve our product and processes.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing your part of the funnel, from identifying leads to scheduling meetings. This includes actively prospecting new opportunities through various outbound sales strategies such as cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and in-person meetings.
You will create opportunities across multiple regions, ensuring that data is accurately maintained and forecasts are reliable. A key part of the role involves deeply understanding customer pain points and tailoring solutions to address their specific needs.
Building credibility will be essential, and you will do this by employing a consultative sales approach while cultivating relationships throughout the solar industry. Additionally, you will represent the company at conferences and trade shows to further grow our network and brand presence.
You will work closely with our Account Executives, as well as with team members from the product team and our Customer Success team.
Qualifications
- 1.5+ years of relevant B2B sales experience
- Comfortable selling internationally with an interest in understanding a diverse target audience
- Collaborative spirit both within the sales team and across to our friends in product
- Experience or interest in renewable energy
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written (English) and preferably German or French
- Experience with CRM (we use Hubspot) and sales analytics
- Roll up your sleeve-mentality where you contribute where needed
