H3M Environmental Ltd. is seeking motivated environmental professionals to join our team and assist in our continued growth and diversification. The successful candidate(s) will champion and promote H3M’s initiatives, participate in the design, management and completion of various projects which can include: Archaeological, Environmental, Reclamation and Remediation assessments; as well as associated reporting in accordance with the needs of our diverse range of clientele. This posting will serve as a collection for all candidates interested in the scope of work H3M provides including (but not limited to) the following positions:
- Archaeology Field Director/Supervisor
- Assist with building and maintaining positive client relationships, focusing on providing top-quality service in regulatory expertise and following through on new business opportunities
- Train and mentor junior and intermediate staff and demonstrate a commitment to team building
- Maintain an understanding of applicable heritage regulations, guidelines and associated industry practices within BC
- 2+ years of archaeological consulting and business development experience
- Graduate of a recognized Post-Secondary institution or college in the field of Archaeology or Anthropology
- Experience in supervising small crews
- Intermediate Environmental Professional
- Lead various environmental assessments including, but not limited to: Soil and vegetation assessments, Stream assessments, Phase I and II Contaminated Site Investigation
- Preparation of the following documents: Reclamation Plans, Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plans, Environmental Mitigation Plans
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the oil and gas industry. Experience within Alberta and British Columbia would be considered an asset
- Degree or technical diploma in an environmental discipline (e.g. biology, environmental science, geography, earth science, or soil/reclamation science)
- Experience building relationships with clients, regulators and stakeholders
- Archaeology Permit Holder
- Assist with building and maintaining positive client relationships, focusing on providing top-quality service in regulatory expertise and following through on new business opportunities
- Complete reports, documents, proposals as well as provide senior review of technical reports for content and accuracy
- Train and mentor junior and intermediate staff, while demonstrating a commitment to team building
- 5+ years of archaeological consulting and business development experience
- Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPCA) or equivalent, or eligible for registration
- Current Safety Tickets
