PositionSummary:
TheSr.ControlsEngineerwillleadtheimplementationofBESS(BatteryEnergyStorageSystems)capable of ultra-fast response to dispatch commands and grid supply variations. This candidate should befamiliarwith powersystems, utility generation, protection, andtransmission systems,aswell asmodern industrial networks and utility communication protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- DraftingandnegotiatingtechnicalcontractexhibitsforfastresponseBESSplantcontrollers.
- Managingstakeholders,utilities,andsupplierstodesignanddeliverfastresponsecontrollers.
- VerifyingtestingandcommissioningofadvancedBESSplantcontrollers.
- Mentoringteammembersandsupervisingworkprocessestoensurehigh-qualitydeliverables are developed within timeline and budget commitments.
- Developing new tools, implementing processes, providing feedback, and working with other stakeholderstoensurecontinuousimprovementofthetechnology/engineering/deliveryvalue stream.
RelatedExperience:
TheidealcandidatewillhavedomainexperienceinsolarPVorbatteryenergystorage.TheDigital-Twin Software Engineer must be proficient in the following:
- Experiencewithpowergrids,powergeneration,and/orrenewableintegrationcontrol.
- Experiencewithutilitymarketapplications.
- ExperiencewithDigSilentPowerFactory,EMTP,orotherpowersystemsmodelingtools.
- Expertiseinmodel-basedcontrolsoftwaredevelopment.
- ExpertiseinGitworkflow.
- ExperiencewithLinux.
Programming:
- Scripting(Python,Batch).
- Relationship×eriesdatabases.
- Writingautomatedtests.
- Jupyter,Deepnote.
CloudPlatforms:
