Brief Description: Solar Energy Consultants provide customers with information about solar-powered equipment. They are usually the first point of contact with customers and provide detailed information about cost savings and energy incentives relating to solar-powered products and equipment.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Scouts the state for new opportunities
- Builds new relationships, establishes their level of interest, and qualifies our new clients for a solar installation
- Generate new leads through networking, social media, presentations, etc.
- Qualify new prospects
- Establish the feasibility of a project site
- Designing basic systems and estimating project costs
- Close new agreements
Reports to: Master Electrician
Qualifications: Superior track record in sales, preferably in construction, engineering, or renewable energy industry. Excellent relationship-building skills. Active listener, able to identify issues, educate and generate awareness of the solutions Seal Solar can offer. Natural networker, not afraid of long hours, comfortable meeting perfect strangers to ask for their business. Able to work with little or no supervision. Self-motivated, resilient, persistent, jovial, ethical, and driven. Tech savvy with a passion for sustainability
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
