Position Summary: As a Site Manager, you will play a critical role in orchestrating the daily operations of our service site, coordinating job responsibilities, maintaining customer relations through agreement oversight, and providing technical advice to our skilled Service Technicians.
Responsibilities
- Implementing and managing safety practices to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Establishing a culture that values consistent progress and optimal operation across the entire business.
- Administering the site safety program to maintain full compliance with established safety standards.
- Building effective internal and external partnerships, interfacing with customers, and resolving inquiries.
- Managing the site budget, cost allocations, and operational revenues.
- Utilizing online tools for data input, financial reporting, and insight dashboard metrics.
- Leading and developing a team that embodies Vestas' values and standards of performance.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience, with a focus on employee performance management.
- Experience in P&L management and wind service operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software programs.
- Skilled at articulating ideas through spoken and written mediums.
- Ability to work in demanding physical and weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules as needed.

- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Hearing ability to use telephones, close range radios or related device.
- Visual acuity including depth perception, field of vision and the ability to distinguish between colors.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed, as well as hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to climb stairs & vertical ladders to heights of 60 to 100 meters and at times supervise work in confined space environments.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to, but not more than 50 lbs. in weight.
- Ability to observe training and obtain certification in required safety programs that include LOTO, Electrical, Fall Arrest & High Angle Emergency Decent, and Confined Space.
- Ability to successfully participate in all training courses, including controlled decent practical exercises.
- Due to safety parameters of fall protection equipment, the total weight of required PPE and gear shall weigh 300 lbs or less while being worn. Required PPE and gear can weigh up to 40 lbs.
