JOB SUMMARY: This position is in Region 4, Water Division, Grants and Infrastructure Branch, State Revolving Fund Section. About Region 4. This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. MAJOR DUTIES: You will: Serve as a technical expert providing oversight, advice, and assistance to governments and communities within the scope of the EPA’s authorities. Review and analyze engineering plans and proposals to ensure that federal funds are being allocated effectively. Coordinate with governmental agencies, local governments, and non-governmental organizations to develop sound arrangements and agreements for water infrastructure projects. Review intended use plans (IUPs) from states, ensure compliance with eligibility requirements, applicable federal material origin requirements and federal cost principles. You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
