Client is seeking a fulltime, permanent Environmental Specialist/Air Specialist for their office in Midland, TX.
The Environmental Field Specialist will ensure periodic monitoring, reporting, recordkeeping, training, and other compliance obligations are met on a consistent and timely basis for multiple midstream assets in West Texas & Southeast New Mexico (Permian & Delaware) asset area. The position is a multimedia environmental compliance roll including air, water, waste and natural resources. This position is responsible for and supports permitting for all media and for overseeing, promoting and improving environmental performance at the field level. This position will also assist in managing company sustainability objectives for the asset area. Under the guidance and leadership of the Lead Environmental Field Specialist, this position provides support to operations, project engineers, corporate and other groups with the goal of achieving efficient, cost-effective environmental compliance for assets located in West Texas and Southeast New Mexico. Assets include natural gas processing plants, compressor stations, liquid terminals, liquid & gas pipelines and disposal wells.
Requirements/Details:
- Title 5 and air permitting experience.
- Minimum 1 year experience with a midstream company; Would like to see 2-4 years of experience if possible.
- Bachelors degree is required.
- Pay up to $120k plus bonuses DOE (plus annual bonus).
