Currently, we are looking for a Sales Representative Anesthesia who is responsible for driving new account development and/or expanding existing accounts including current and future products within an established geographic territory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for sales targets
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers
- Provide market information to maintain a sound understanding of the marketplace
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed care information relative to your assigned sales territory
- Identify incremental business opportunities and develop strategies to grow the portfolio
- Developing and implementing sales strategies with a focus at the local and regional levels to defend and expand product portfolio.
- Monitoring product sales and working closely with Marketing, Customer Service, and Customer Operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Attending regional and local Conferences.
- Providing feedback regarding product simplification and standardization to enhance the profitability of the sales line.
- Work closely with other sales representatives to increase penetration of products in accounts.
- Creating, owning, and promoting marketing events supporting the sales targets
Qualifications:
- Territory Sales / Account Management experience in Medical device sales
- Proven sales performance Collaboration and Teamwork - Defines success in terms of the whole organization; can develop vertical and horizontal team effectiveness; demonstrates support for other people and teams; willing to share resources; willing to participate & contribute to efforts beyond own scope of responsibilities; seeks and gives feedback and input.
- Business Acumen - knowledgeable about products and processes; is aware of how sales strategies and tactics work in the marketplace; knows the competition.
- Communication - Speaks and writes clearly and effectively; promotes a free flow of information through the organization; proactively shares information within and across organization; listens actively.
- Customer Focus - maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect; is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
- Passion for delivering customer satisfaction
- Current drivers’ license
- Ability to work autonomously with a drive and determination to succeed
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 2 years of relevant medical device/healthcare sales experience within an operating room environment.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
