SUMMARY OF POSITION
Servers oversee their assigned stations and follow all steps of service. Guiding their guests through their dining experience. The primary contact at the table, the server, greets the guests, discusses the menus, explains the dishes as they arrive at the table, and ensures that all members of the team are performing at their expected level.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Station before shift:
- All chairs are clean and symmetrical position.
- Silverware stocked and polished.
- Tabletops/ bases cleaned and polished.
- Place settings complete, polished & identical, glass stocked and polished.
- Station organized and presentable.
- All Girdon’s have backup receipt paper.
- All tables have a candle.
- Floors are vacuumed.
Closing your section:
- Server stations are completely spotless.
- All menus are presentable and evenly distributed.
- All trays from girdon are clean.
- The floor is mopped.
- All ice in ice bucket is melted and water pitchers are empty.
- Place mats are cleaned.
- Candles are removed from all tables, if any.
- Follow all handbook guidelines and procedures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO PERFORM THIS JOB
- Walk/ be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Repeat the same movements.
- Use your hands to handle, control, feel objects and tools.
- Lift between 25 and 50 pounds.
- Speak clearly so listeners can understand.
- See details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
- Be physically active for long periods of time without getting tired or out of breath.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Employee must be able to use:
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic writing and communication skills.
Payrate:
$10/hr + $5 tip/hr garuntee.
