Professional Services – Hands-on Integration & Support Engineer
In this position you will be responsible for developing, integrating, deploying, monitoring and testing the resiliency of complex distributed systems, comprised of multiple innovative site and product configurations. You will also be responsible for measuring and maintaining the Professional Services fleet SLA.
The Professional Services department is responsible for overseeing the development, deployment and maintenance of solutions to overcome ecosystem and integration challenges which SolarEdge systems meet in the field. The team has end-to-end ownership over the solutions from feature definition, implementation and long-term support, across HW and SW.
We are seeking a self-motivated, highly independent problem-solver hands-on Integration & Support Engineer to join our team. As Integration and Support Engineer at SolarEdge’s dynamic environment, you will be responsible for supporting a large fleet of commercial PV sites deployed globally and own the fleet health through solutions lifecycle.
What will you be doing:
- Quickly learn how SolarEdge Commercial portfolio operates
- Support the deployment of multiple solution through the PS solution delivery ecosystem
- Monitor the health of the existing Professional Services fleet
- Solve customer technical problems, including identifying the root cause, and if needed tweaking, packaging and deploying FW packages to SolarEdge Professional Services controllers in the field
- Collect customers feedback to identify broad market needs in the SolarEdge Commercial ecosystem
- Education: BSc. In Software/Electronic Engineering (leading universities).
- 3 to 6 Yrs. of experience in programming languages (Python) is must.
- Understanding of networking technologies and TCP in particular is must.
- Experience in coding in Linux environment is must.
- MODBUS/SCADA protocols familiarity- Advantage.
- Familiarity with power electronics- advantage.
- Networking principles familiarity – advantage.
- Proven experience with IOT / IOE markets – advantage.
- Experience in using bug tracking tools (E.g. JIRA) – advantage.
- Familiarity with Git version control –advantage.
- Experience with implementing continues deployment pipelines (preferably using Gitlab).
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as: scope, power suppliers, power meters etc.

- Excellent English - highly articulate and clear in both speaking and writing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- System level intuitive.

- Comfortable engagement with Linux OS environment.
