Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Developing detailed project plans (including scope, objectives, timelines, and resources), defining project tasks, responsibilities, and deliverables along with creating and maintaining project documentation, such as project charters and schedules.
- Team Management: Lead project teams, providing guidance and motivation, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project objectives, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Conduct Strategic Gate Reviews to the Board and Senior Leadership as well as manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns promptly.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and proactively manage project issues to prevent escalation including owing the development of contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
- Budget Management: Aide in the Development of project budgets, cost targets and track expenses.
- Control project costs Overseeing procurement processes and vendor timing and report variances to stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor project deliverables against corporate standards Ensuring compliance with organizational quality policies and industry standards.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide accurate and timely project performance metrics to stakeholders, preparing regular project status reports, highlighting progress, issues, and risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as project management, business, engineering).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Proven experience in engineering project management, including successful project delivery.
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of project management experience.
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, and MS Teams sites.
