Introduction

A growing and reputable solar / renewable energy company is looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to join their finance team.

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented candidate with a stable employment history and practical experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and day-to-day transaction processing.

Duties & Responsibilities

Process and capture supplier invoices, customer invoices and financial transactions.
Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
Perform supplier and customer account reconciliations.
Process and allocate payments and receipts.
Assist with bank reconciliations and transaction processing.
Follow up on outstanding customer accounts and supplier queries.
Assist with supplier payment preparation and ensure supporting documentation is accurate.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are correctly allocated.
Assist with month-end accounting procedures and reporting.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies on customer and supplier accounts.
Ensure invoices and financial documentation are properly filed and maintained.
Provide general administrative and accounting support to the finance team.
Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and within required deadlines.
