What awaits you/ Job Profile | At BMWTechWorks India, you will be part of the innovative Cluster Digital Product Engineering, driving the development of vital components for BMW’s next-generation electric vehicles. ?This role's task is to develop components according to specifications and requirements.
It contains the following tasks:
- coordinate with SE-teamleader.
- coordinate with responsibles of adjacent components (e.g. package space constraints), assembly partners, and validation/testing teams.
- represent and defend our own requirements during alignment meetings.
- manage and steer design, simulation, and validation processes.
- coordinate and communicate with suppliers regarding component requirements and changes.
- system filling (for example gAMS, PQM, PRISMA, DBKR)
- prepare the BMW release process.
- document development activities and decisions throughout the project. |
Must have technical skill | - Proficient in CAD, especially CATIA V5/3D, for 2D and 3D construction including array and subcomponents, board outlines, folding/bending, panelization, and technical drawing.
- Knowledge of DIN ISO 16742 (plastic molding) and DIN ISO 2768 (metal punching) standards.
- Experience with 48Volt voltage battery systems, including the components.
- Familiarity with FMK (Functional Tolerance Chain Analysis) to ensure component precision and function.
