What awaits you/ Job Profile | At BMWTechWorks India, you will be part of the innovative Cluster Digital Product Engineering, driving the development of vital components for BMW’s next-generation electric vehicles. The development of all components for the integration of low-voltage energy storage systems, converters and active power distribution units. This includes mounting and retention components as well as peripheral parts made from steel, aluminum, plastics and elastomers.
We are responsible for the technical and administrative management of the parts:
technical management includes development and designing from sketch to series part including testing and validation
administrative management includes release process, supplier management and internal BMW system service. |
Must have technical skill | - Proficient in CAD, especially CATIA V5/3D, for 2D and 3D construction including array and subcomponents, board outlines, folding/bending, panelization, and technical drawing.
- Knowledge of DIN ISO 16742 (plastic molding) and DIN ISO 2768 (metal punching) standards.
- Experience with 48Volt voltage battery systems, including the components.
- Familiarity with FMK (Functional Tolerance Chain Analysis) to ensure component precision and function.
