Role and Responsibilities Perform basic job mechanical assembly functions as directed by Shift Lead or Supervisor safely and efficiently Follow Standard Operating Procedures and/or Work Instructions exactly as written to produce a quality product Assemble electrical and mechanical assemblies Will be responsible for the quality of work, and workmanship standards Will be responsible for entering failure reports to improve quality Will be required to work with engineering to take conceptual design to physical layout Will work with system test group to trouble shoot assemblies and rework materials in order to meet system requirements Must perform hand-over-hand sub-system quality checks Skills and Experience: Must demonstrate safe working conditions Must be familiar with the theory and operation of mechanical components such as blowers, pumps, fans, valves, flow meters, and pressure regulators Wiring and electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus Must be able to read engineering drawings, and some schematics Must work at cross functional levels to solve problems and recommend appropriate solutions. HS diploma or technical/military school certification in electronics, electrical, mechanical, or process engineering/technology preferred. At least 6 – 8 years of related experience.
