Job Description
I’m currently recruiting for a Flavour Laboratory Technician to join a growing food manufacturing business in North Somerset.
This is a hands-on opportunity within an R&D laboratory, supporting the preparation and development of flavour samples for customers across the UK and European food markets.
The role includes:
- Preparing and compounding flavour samples
- Managing raw materials and laboratory consumables
- Preparing labels and documentation for sample despatch
- Working to GMP, quality and safety standards
- Supporting the wider R&D team in a fast-paced environment
The ideal candidate will have:
- Laboratory, kitchen, food manufacturing or similar practical experience
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
- A flexible, proactive approach
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK

Location: Somerset
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
