Summary
You will serve as a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist at Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park with the National Park Service.
Major Duties
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Serves as facility management expert on interdisciplinary park management team. Actively involved in developing and implementing multi-year strategic plans and annual implementation plans, policies, and programs in compliance with, and application of, approved park management plans. Manages Facility Management Software Systems for cost effective management of park asset portfolio, including facilities, historic buildings and objects, roads, trails, campground, vault toilets, government vehicles, and equipment, etc. Plans, schedules, and directs work to operate facilities and assets at their most effective level. Responsible for implementing environmental management systems for complying with federal and state regulations. Maintains park facilities in compliance and best management practices of the NPS Environmental Audit Program. Responsible for development and implementation of projects. Coordinates project scope, goals, and objectives; facilitates planning and design processes; develops spending plan and budget protocols; manages construction process ensuring all project documentation is completed and archive. Responsible for comprehensive safety and training program to eliminate at-risk behaviors and environments and enforce regulatory policies and mandates. Responsible for the development and management of the maintenance division's budget. Exercises the full range of supervisory duties for subordinates. Salary Range Information (Per Annum): $89,508 - $116,362 *First time hires to the federal government typically start at the beginning salary in the range for their respective grade level.
