- ECSA Registered (on track)
- PR Eng (on track)
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- BEng or BSc in Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years' relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Experience in HV/MV power systems, substations, utilities, mining, renewable energy, EPC or industrial environments.
- Exposure to HV equipment, protection systems, switchgear and transformers.
- Understanding of electrical protection and power-system principles.
- Experience with electrical calculations and power-system studies will be advantageous.
- Ability to interpret and develop single-line diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of applicable SANS, IEC and grid-code requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent technical communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
- A strong focus on electrical safety, technical quality and engineering compliance.
