An organised and detail-oriented Materials Controller (Solar / Industrial Warehousing) required for Elandsfontein, Gauteng.
To manage the physical flow, accuracy and readiness of stock across their industrial solar projects. Ensuring project materials are accurately picked, packed, dispatched, tracked and reconciled to support seamless project execution.

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- 3+ years' experience in warehousing, stock control or project logistics.
- Previous experience within the electrical, solar or construction industry preferred.
- Computer literate with inventory or warehouse management systems.
- Post-school qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain or Inventory Management advantageous.
- Knowledge of PV components such as inverters, batteries, racking systems and cables advantageous.
Technical Competencies:

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and pack project Bill of Materials (BOMs) accurately and ensure complete project kits are ready for dispatch.
- Coordinate the timely dispatch of materials in line with project schedules.
- Identify and report stock shortages before project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate stock binning, labelling and warehouse organisation.
- Ensure physical stock aligns with inventory records and participate in monthly cycle counts.
- Prepare quarterly stock ageing reports.
- Receive, inspect and process returned project materials.
- Assess returned stock and separate reusable, faulty and scrap items.
- Quarantine and tag faulty items for warranty processing while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Prepare dispatch notes, delivery documentation and proof of delivery records.
- Liaise with logistics teams regarding dispatch schedules and delivery timelines.
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping, safety standards and SHEQ compliance.
- Ensure racking, fire lanes and hazardous storage areas remain compliant with company safety standards.
