About the Team
Scout Motors is seeking Senior Specialist, Business Operations within the Commercial Office, a coordinating department forming strategic plans with, and setting alignment for all Commercial Operations functions.
Operating at the intersection of strategy, operations, and planning, the Commercial Office is responsible for driving cross-functional collaboration, professionalizing Commercial Operations business planning and administration, and driving execution of top priorities.
Within the Commercial Office, the PMO team is hiring a Sr. Specialist, Program Manager to support the Sales & Marketing team.
What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Support the definition and manage the master project plan for Sales & Marketing within Commercial Operations, ensuring proper governance, documentation, coordination, and delivery of numerous complex projects contributing to Scout Motors retail readiness.
- Develop Delivery timelines, aligning and coordinating interdependencies both inside and outside of Commercial Operations, as well as establishing a governance process associated with these timelines.
- Manage documentation within Confluence and Jira environments, plus create highly professional project documentation for summary-level presentations to executive audiences.
- Drive special initiatives across a range of topics in partnership with cross-functional teams and the Commercial Operations PMO.
- Survey and collect all relevant milestone planning documentation across Sales & Marketing.
- Support and coordinate the development of the top-level budget of Sales & Marketing coordinating with each functional leader to ensure accurate forecasting and timely reporting.
- Support, coordinate and align the top-level headcount plan of Sales & Marketing.
- Lead meeting execution, decision tracking, and deliverable documentation, following up with responsibilities on behalf of Commercial Office.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to drive alignment, solve complex business challenges, and accelerate decision making.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role may be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role may require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- Education/Certifications: A Bachelor’s degree
- Years of Experience required in type of role: 10 years of experience in a Project Management or automotive environment, preferably in a Project Manager role. Automotive experience is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skillful at organizational navigation and cross-functional collaboration at all levels; ability to develop effective internal partnerships and relationships.
- Experience building in a start-up environment where basic infrastructure, systems and processes must be created in a greenfield environment.
- Strong knowledge or project management system and tools, to include Confluence and Jira.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $130,000.00 - $160,000.00
