System Management: Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the company's Environmental, Health and Safety Management Systems.

Legal & Standard Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable Environmental, Health and Safety legislation, regulations, permits, licences, and company standards.

Audits & Risk Assessment: Lead and coordinate environmental and safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and compliance evaluations.

Incident Investigation: Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, environmental incidents and near misses, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

PPE & Safety Procedures: Monitor compliance with safe work procedures and ensure that appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used.

Emergency Preparedness: Oversee emergency preparedness and response plans, including fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and emergency drills.

Environmental Management: Manage environmental compliance relating to waste management, emissions, water use, hazardous substances, pollution prevention, and rehabilitation where applicable.

Stakeholder Relations: Liaise with and manage regulatory authorities, auditors, certification bodies, and external stakeholders during inspections and audits.

Documentation & Records: Manage and maintain accurate Environmental, Health and Safety records, registers, reports, statistics, and legal documentation.

Contractor Compliance: Monitor contractor compliance with company Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.

Reporting: Provide weekly, monthly and yearly Environmental, Health and Safety performance reports to management, including trends, KPIs, and recommendations.

Safety Culture: Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
