Our client is seeking an Outage I&C Supervisor for a shutdown for a nuclear plant. Previous nuclear power plant experience is non-negotiable.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, supervision, and coordination of I&C maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with nuclear safety standards, quality requirements, and operational procedures.
This role requires strong expertise in instrumentation systems, control valves, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and outage execution while maintaining the highest standards of nuclear, industrial, and environmental safety.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate Instrumentation & Control maintenance activities during planned outages and operational maintenance programs.
- Lead execution of assigned maintenance scopes to improve equipment reliability, plant performance, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical guidance during troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, equipment failures, and abnormal operating conditions.
- Support engineering evaluations, operability assessments, and temporary modification activities.
- Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and within approved schedules.
- Assist in planning major maintenance windows and outage activities.
- Optimize manpower utilization, work sequencing, and resource allocation.
- Review maintenance procedures and ensure compliance with plant standards and work instructions.
Qualifications:
- Technical Certificate or Diploma in Instrumentation, Control, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in I&C maintenance or calibration (nuclear power plant non-negotiable).
- Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience
- Experience with transmitters, switches, and test equipment operation.
