Our client is seeking an Outage Electrical Craftsman/Artisan for a shutdown for a nuclear plant in the Middle East. Previous power plant experience is non-negotiable.
The Electrical Craftsman is responsible for performing electrical maintenance on safety and non-safety related Systems, Structures, and Components (SSCs) to ensure plant reliability, safety, and performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and installation activities during outage operations.
- Execute assigned work scopes in accordance with approved procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and associated plant equipment.
- Support the inspection, maintenance, and functional testing of electrical components, motors, switchgear, cabling, and associated equipment.
- Assist with outage preparation, execution, and completion activities.
- Identify and report equipment defects, non-conformances, and safety concerns.
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
- Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure successful outage delivery.
- Promote a strong nuclear safety culture and maintain compliance with all site procedures
Qualifications:
- Trade Test (Diploma preferable)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in electrical maintenance
- Experience in power plants is non-negotiable
- Previous outage experience within an operational Nuclear Power Plant environment.
- Strong electrical maintenance, inspection, testing, fault-finding, and repair experience.
- Knowledge of Feedwater (FW), Cooling Water (CW), Reactor Coolant Systems (RCS), Air Operated Valves (AOV), and Motor Operated Valves (MOV).
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
