Major Duties
Facilitates visitor understanding, enjoyment, and meaningful connections to park resources and stories through interpretive programming and personal engagement. Support daily operational needs by providing accurate information, responding to visitor inquiries, and ensuring positive visitor experiences at contact stations and throughout the park. Promote a culture of safety within the park and team environment, emphasizing psychological safety, mutual respect, open communication, and collaboration. Encourage and model visitor behaviors that support resource protection, ensuring friendly compliance with park laws, regulations, and safe use guidelines. Fosters peer learning and development by mentoring and coaching team members.
