Job Purpose: Incharge - SAS is responsible for directing the on-site implementation and optimization of Substation Automation Systems (SAS), ensuring successful system deployment, integration with site-specific infrastructure, and adherence to technical and operational standards for enhanced performance.
ResponsibilitiesContract Management & Administration
- Lead end-to-end contract administration for Project Infrastructure Portfolio of Renewable Energy Projects.
- Interpret contract terms and ensure compliance by all stakeholders.
- Monitor contractual obligations, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
- Maintain contract documentation, amendments, and records systematically.
Tendering & Pre-Award Support
- Review tender documents, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Identify contractual risks during the bidding stage.
- Identify interface issues, if any.
Post-Award Contract Execution
- Ensure contract kick-off and alignment with contractors.
- Track project milestones against contractual requirements.
- Monitor scope changes and execute contract deviation by amending the contracts.
- Support reconciliation of final accounts and contract closure.
- Coordinate contract disputes, claim settlement. Extension of time and cost escalations.
- Support arbitration/litigation processes if required.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor BGs (Bank Guarantees) and securities.
- Ensure timely closure of contractual obligations and defect liability periods.
Technical Skills/ Software
- Knowledge of SAP, Ariba System
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word & PPT)
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure contracts i.e. Industrial / Residential Building works, Roads/Drains, MEP works, Associated Electrical Systems
- Contract dispute resolution / conflict management / negotiation skills
- Financial and commercial acumen
QualificationsQualifications
- Education: B. Tech in Electrical Engineering
- Experience: 14-16 years in Infrastructure or construction Projects
- Certification in Contract Management (Added advantage)
