The Project Engineer leads the design and execution of grid-tied and hybrid solar PV projects. This role blends technical expertise with project management, overseeing all phases from feasibility to handover. It includes mentoring engineers, engaging with EPCs and clients, and ensuring project quality. The role also supports strategic goals like design standardization, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design of grid-tied and hybrid PV systems, including sizing, costing, and optimization.
- Review EPC technical submissions, BOQs, and yield assumptions.
- Conduct site and grid assessments with full feasibility analysis.
- Oversee preparation of SLDs, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Incorporate HSE best practices into all engineering designs.
- Serve as technical lead throughout the project lifecycle, supporting procurement and construction.
- Liaise with clients, EPCs, suppliers, and regulators as the main technical contact.
