The Solareff Finance Clerk will be responsible for supporting the finance team with day-to-day accounting and administrative functions, ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions and compliance with company procedures.
Minimum RequirementsQualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- BCom Degree in Accounting or related financial qualification.
- Additional finance or bookkeeping certification will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting support role.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience working on accounting or ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices, reconciliations and payments accurately and timeously.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Capture financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with monthly reconciliations and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and controls.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments regarding finance queries.
- Maintain organised filing systems for financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with audit preparation and finance administration tasks.
- Support the finance team with ad hoc duties as required.
