An exciting opportunity is available for a highly analytical and driven Project Finance Analyst to join a dynamic team operating within the infrastructure and renewable energy sector.
This role offers exposure to complex transactions, financial modelling, and large-scale projects across Africa, making it ideal for an ambitious finance professional looking to grow within a specialized finance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain detailed financial models for project finance transactions
- Assist with financial structuring and feasibility analysis of infrastructure and energy projects
- Support transaction execution processes, including due diligence and investor engagement
- Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and transaction-related documentation
- Conduct financial analysis, valuations, and scenario modelling
- Engage with lenders, investors, legal teams, and other project stakeholders
- Perform market and industry research to support strategic initiatives
Requirements:
- Finance Degree preferred
- 2–5 years’ experience within:
- Project finance
- Corporate finance
- Investment banking
- Infrastructure finance
- Renewable energy finance
- Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
- Understanding of debt and equity funding structures
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Advantageous:
- Exposure to renewable energy or infrastructure projects
- CFA / FMVA / CIMA studies
- Experience working on transactions across Africa
