We’re looking for an outstanding commercial Account Manager to join our Enterprise Account Management team in London.
You will be the face and the voice of Octopus Electric Vehicles for a portfolio of our largest employers offering our EV salary sacrifice scheme to their employees - from supporting their launch to growing the relationship to ensuring we retain them. In short, your role is to ensure the relationship is a roaring success for our customers, their employees and Octopus EV.
A genuine passion for driving growth, outstanding customer experience and sustainability is a must, with a flair for relationship building and strong commercial acumen.

What you'll do...- Grow and expand a portfolio of clients from different industries, driving adoption and increasing participation in the salary sacrifice car leasing scheme
- Consult with clients to shape their scheme employee engagement strategy, translating their objectives into clear, actionable plans that drive engagement from launch and in-life
- Build high-value strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including senior decision-makers, HR teams, and procurement contacts
- Act as a commercial partner, advising clients on industry best practices, cost-saving opportunities, and the long-term benefits of electric vehicle adoption
- Drive retention and long-term account success, proactively identifying risks and implementing engagement strategies to maximise scheme participation
- Lead impactful presentations and engagement initiatives to drive employee participation, ensuring strong adoption and ongoing engagement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Onboarding, Partnerships, Finance, Sales, Operations and Product teams to ensure seamless implementation and customer satisfaction
- Leverage data and customer insights to influence internal teams, improve processes, and agree client initiatives to enhance customer experience and scheme success
What you'll need...- 5+ years experience in a commercially focused sales, account management, or other relevant customer-facing role, ideally within B2B2C environment
- A results-driven mindset, with a strong track record of growing accounts, hitting targets, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking, able to negotiate favourable outcomes for both customers and OEV
- Exceptional relationship management skills, with the maturity, gravitas and ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
- Ability to problem solve and operate independently, taking proactive responsibility for the performance of your portfolio
- To be a confident presenter, able to deliver compelling pitches and engagement sessions to diverse audiences
- A passion for customer success, ensuring clients see clear value and ROI from their schemes
- A start-up / entrepreneurial mindset, being able to adjust to change and keep up with a fast-moving business
- A strong interest in sustainability, and a desire to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles
