Join Our Team as a Field Supervisor - Building Manager!

We are looking for a versatile team member who can deliver high-quality janitorial services while also stepping in as a Relief Building Manager when needed. Key duties & responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of janitorial staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect the quality of work and address any issues or concerns.
- Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Provide coverage for relief shifts as needed, stepping in to perform janitorial / building manager duties and oversee operations when regular staff members are absent.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working in various locations and buildings as per company needs.
- Perform daily janitorial cleaning duties / building manager duties ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Monitor building operations and report maintenance issues as needed.
- Provide relief coverage for Building Manager duties during absences (vacation, sick leave, etc.).
- Oversee building operations during relief shifts, ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality.
- Coordinate with contractors, tenants, and management when acting as Building Manager.
- Conduct basic inspections and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in janitorial or facilities management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (candidate must have a vehicle).
- Willingness to work weekends in addition to Monday to Friday schedule.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
- Flexibility to work weekends and different shifts when needed.

Salary Details:
The salary for this position $48 000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, the candidate will receive a monthly gas allowance provided in accordance with CRA guidelines. Minimum 2 years of janitorial/cleaning experience (required).
Minimum 1 year of Building Manager / Caretaker experience (required).
