Contract Geologist – RC Drilling Campaign
About the Company
This role sits with an established mining operation supporting ongoing production and resource definition through targeted drilling campaigns.
With multiple programmes in the pipeline, there is potential for contract extensions or future campaigns beyond the initial scope.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Contract Geologist to support a 3-month RC drilling campaign on an 8:6 roster, dayshift only.
The programme is already planned, so the focus is execution — logging, sampling, managing data and keeping the rig running efficiently day-to-day.
You’ll be working with a single rig in and around the open pit, supporting grade control activities and working closely with site teams and the drilling contractor.
This role suits someone early to mid-career (up to ~5 years’ experience) who has been hands-on in RC programmes and is confident managing the day-to-day without needing a lot of direction.
