About the Role
IIX is seeking an AVP / VP to serve as the operational backbone of IIX Fintech, the newly integrated vertical unifying three core platforms: IIX Values™ (impact measurement and ESG data), Impact Partners™ (enterprise and investor connectivity), and IIX Institute™ (knowledge and capacity-building). Reporting directly to the Platform Innovation Head, this role translates strategic vision into day-to-day reality: managing platform delivery, driving cross-functional coordination, and executing business development. Success means platforms that run smoothly, clients that are well-served, and a team that performs at its best.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strategy Execution & Operational Delivery
- Translate the Platform Innovation Head’s 3–5 year strategy into quarterly roadmaps, workplans, and measurable milestones
- Monitor progress across all three platforms, proactively identifying bottlenecks and driving resolution
- Prepare leadership-ready reporting on platform performance, KPIs, and impact metrics
- Support the Head in representing IIX Fintech in internal governance and external forums
2. Platform Management & Product Development
- Lead day-to-day operations and enhancement cycles for IIX Values™, Impact Partners™, and IIX Institute™
- Coordinate with technology and analytics teams to ensure product development stays on track, on brief, and market-relevant
- Gather and synthesize user feedback to inform product iterations and feature prioritization
- Support rollout of platform upgrades across geographies, ensuring quality and consistency
3. Business Development Support & Client Engagement
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in partnership with the Platform Innovation Head
- Support the design and packaging of client solutions for corporates, financial institutions, governments, and development partners
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and partners, ensuring high satisfaction and renewal
- Contribute to proposals, pitch decks, and commercial negotiations
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the primary coordination point between IIX Fintech and the Asset Management and Advisory teams
- Ensure smooth flow of data, insights, and deliverables across business units
- Coordinate with external vendors, technology partners, and implementation teams
5. Team & Capability Building
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day management of platform team members
- Contribute to building a performance culture through clear task delegation, feedback, and mentorship of junior staff
- Support the strengthening of IIX Institute as a global knowledge and training hub
6. Operational Excellence
- Maintain platform documentation, SOPs, and compliance standards
- Assist in budget tracking, resource planning, and vendor management
- Ensure adherence to data privacy, security regulations, and ESG reporting standards
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Experience & Skills
- 7–10 years of progressive experience across fintech, impact investing, digital platforms, consulting, or sustainable finance
- Demonstrated experience in platform or product management, including delivery against defined KPIs
- Working knowledge of ESG/impact measurement frameworks and financial markets
- Exposure to emerging markets and cross-geography stakeholder management
- Experience supporting or leading business development and client engagement efforts
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
