Job Purpose<\/b>

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and successful execution of projects within the energy and power maintenance sector. The role ensures that all projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget, while complying with industry regulations and client requirements. The Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure high -quality service delivery across all project phases.

Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/div>Plan, execute and manage energy and power maintenance projects from initiation to completion.
<\/span><\/li>Develop detailed project plans, schedules and resource allocation strategies.
<\/span><\/li>Coordinate and lead cross -functional teams, including engineers, technicians, field staff and subcontractors.
<\/span><\/li>Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines and budget.
<\/span><\/li>Identify, assess, mitigate project risks, including operational and safety risks.
<\/span><\/li>Ensure compliance with energy sector regulations, standards and environmental requirements.
<\/span><\/li>Promote and enforce strict health and safety practices across all project activities.
<\/span><\/li>Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
<\/span><\/li>Oversee project documentation, reporting, and final project handover.
<\/span><\/li>Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control standards are met.
<\/span><\/li>Resolve project challenges, delays, and technical issues effectively.
<\/span><\/li>Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency within project delivery.
<\/span><\/li>Support training and development of team members where required.
<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

Requirements<\/h3>

Grade 12 (Matric).
<\/span><\/li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Energy Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
<\/span><\/li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in the energy, utilities, or power infrastructure sector or similar.
<\/span><\/li>Proven experience in maintenance, operations or energy -related projects.
<\/span><\/li>Strong understanding of power systems, maintenance practices, and infrastructure projects.
<\/span><\/li>Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
<\/span><\/li>Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements in the energy industry.
<\/span><\/li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) as well as project management systems and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar platforms).
<\/span><\/li>Strong reporting, data analysis, presentation skills and documentation skills.
<\/span>
