About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Front End loader Operator to join our team at our Chipping Norton Recycling Site.
This position is a full time role with the opportunity for overtime.
Working as part of the production team at our recycling facility, the Front-End Loader is responsible for the sorting of waste materials, loading of trucks with recycled material and assisting to push up incoming material. This position is also responsible for the feeding of raw material into the recycling plant and emptying material from bays, additionally stock piling, ripping, loading trucks and preparation for material processing, to ensuring that the plant continues to run efficiently to meet production targets.
Role Responsibilities:
- Sorting of various waste materials for recycling based on size & type of material.
- Loading various products on to trucks.
- Assist feed loader with pushing up incoming material.
- Feeding raw material in the recycling plant.
- Emptying material from bays.
- Assist in the isolation of hazardous materials.
- Conduct pre-start inspection; and
- Report repair issues to the Supervisor and report any hazards.
- Housekeeping of plant & immediate area.
- Conduct maintenance and refuelling of machine daily.
- Maintain material quality; and keeping the loader bucket clean to avoid cross contamination of products.
- Conduct all tasks in a safe manner.
- Ensure correct PPE is always worn; and follow all relevant safety policies and procedures.
