Summary
The mission of the Idaho Operations Office (ID) is to develop and deliver cost-effective solutions to both fundamental and advanced challenges in nuclear energy and other energy resources, national security, and environmental management. ID oversees operations conducted at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) site for the Department.
Major Duties
As a Security Officer, you will: Serve as the Site Chief Security Officer (CSO) and is personally accountable for any adverse security event in which it is determined, by the Secretary. Direct and oversees the Idaho Operations Office's Security Division, ensuring the administration, implementation, and maintenance of the Security Program. Manage a team of security specialists, including physical, personnel, and information security experts, overseeing their work and addressing personnel policy matters. Provide guidance for Security Program work, to ensure effective resource use, monitoring program costs and schedules, and coordinating efforts with entities. Establish and oversee Security Program evaluations, performance standards, and cost-effectiveness measures.
