The Role
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Renewable Energy Consultant to join our growing team. This role focuses on converting residential solar opportunities into sales while delivering a high-quality consultative experience to homeowners.
All customer appointments are pre-qualified and scheduled for the consultant, allowing you to focus on the consultation, solution design, and closing deals rather than lead generation.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Growth.
The Candidate Will Be Responsible For
Managing residential solar enquiries from initial contact through to sale
Consulting with homeowners to understand their energy needs and usage
Conducting site visits and initial suitability assessments (training provided)
Explaining solar PV systems, energy savings, and available grants/incentives
Preparing and presenting tailored solar proposals to customers
Following up on quotations and progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline
Managing deals from lead stage through to signed contract
Handling inbound enquiries professionally
Maintaining accurate records and pipeline updates in the CRM system
Delivering a consultative, educational sales experience for homeowners
Building trust and long-term relationships with customers
Ensuring clear communication throughout the customer journey
Meeting and exceeding residential sales targets
Maintaining a strong conversion rate from company-provided appointments
Identifying opportunities for referrals and additional sales
Providing feedback to management on market trends and customer needs
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in B2C or B2B sales
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable speaking with homeowners and guiding them through a consultative sales process
Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage your own pipeline
Organised and comfortable using CRM systems
Full clean driving licence
What We Offer
Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission
OTE €65,000+ per annum
