Responsible for the development and validation of software functions that ensure the safety and optimal performance of high voltage battery systems using Analog Devices' Cell Monitor and Pack Monitor chipsets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate chipsets to select the best fit for battery system management.
- Develop and implement software functions to monitor and control battery safety parameters.
- Write functional software requirements for safety mechanisms.
- Optimize software for serial maturity, ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards for mass production.
- Carry out testing at different test instances to ensure all defined software functions meet stringent performance and reliability benchmarks.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong background in embedded software development (e.g., Device Driver) and safety-critical systems.
- Experience with automotive standard ISO 26262 (Part 4, 5, 6).
- Knowledge of battery management systems and high-voltage electronics.
- Proficient in requirements engineering and documentation.
- Experience in Embedded C, Automotive Test tools such as INCA, Vector CAN tools, HIL Testing
- Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- The ability to build trust quickly, communicate clearly and navigate ambiguity with confidence
