Project Finance Analyst-Renewable Energy

About the Role
We are seeking a Project Finance Analyst to support the development, financing, and execution of renewable and conventional energy projects. This role provides exposure to financial modelling, investment analysis, and transaction support, and plays a key part in structuring debt and equity financing, evaluating project economics, and supporting investment committees.

Key Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and optimise detailed project finance models to assess investment returns, funding requirements, and sensitivities

Assist in structuring and negotiating debt and equity financing with lenders, investors, and other stakeholders

Support financial due diligence, financial close activities, and preparation of investment committee papers

Monitor and forecast cash positions across the group and liaise with banks on treasury products
-
Track financial performance of operating assets and update models post-financial close
-
Provide input into bid submissions, PPAs, equipment rental agreements, and valuation exercises

Support capital structuring, portfolio optimisation, and corporate budgeting processes

Contribute to enhancements in capital raising processes, internal controls, and automation initiatives
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field

Professional qualification (e.g., CA) preferred but not required
-
3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, project finance, credit analysis, or structured finance
-
Exposure to project finance, capital markets, leveraged finance, or investment transactions preferred

Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel (including macros)

High attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
