Introduction

To obtain experiential learning through a structured 24 month programme applicable to the field of Health and Safety Management. This opportunity will afford a graduate exposure to the working world whilst earning regulated benefits as per the discretionary of the company.

Duties & Responsibilities

Providing technical support in the development, implementation, and monitoring of integrated management systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure adherence to all company health & safety practices and procedures.
Conducting and compiling routine environmental compliance inspections and audits against authorizations, guidelines and legislations, and creating action plans for addressing areas of non-compliance.
Conducting environmental incident investigations and recommending mitigation and corrective measures.
Coordinating environmental monitoring programs and ensuring records are captured on the environmental database.
Collecting water samples for water quality analysis, monitoring and reporting.
Developing and conducting environmental communications, education, training and awareness programs.
Actively compiling information for weekly, monthly and various reports submissions.
Liaising with various stakeholders including government departments and communities.
Compiling monthly reports on pertinent environmental monitoring data and maintaining a system of reporting environmental incidents and reviewing recommendations to rectify deviations.
