Our client is a leading renewable energy developer, delivering utility-scale solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across Africa. They’re on a mission to unlock clean, reliable, and affordable power for businesses, utilities, and communities. They’re now looking for a Solar & BESS Design Engineer to join their high-performance technical team and help shape the next generation of renewable energy projects.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ proven experience in the design of Solar PV sites ≥1MW and BESS systems ≥500kWh.
- Education: BEng/ BSc/ BTech in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience delivering complex structural projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, PVSyst, Helioscope and MS Office Suite
- Professional registration with ECSA is advantageous
