Position Summary:
The Battery, Cable, and Hose Cutting Associate position requires an independent worker that can prioritize duties and can multi-task while managing time. Must have a basic understanding of computers, ability to lift to 50 pounds, read a tape measure and maintain equipment and tools. The Battery, Cable, and Hose Cutting Associate position requires cutting various sizes and types of hoses and cables to the length needed per work instructions and then adding appropriate connectors where needed. Upon completion, parts are placed into kits then inventoried until picked for installation into a specified boat order at which time it will be delivered to the assembly line.
Job Responsibilities:
- The Battery, Cable, and Hose Cutting Associate will work withminimal supervision, assemble boat units per specifications prescribed on the Tiara Yachts work instructions.
- The SBattery, Cable, and Hose Cutting Associate must have the ability to use basic hand tools and power tools with some degree of mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Must be able to read schematics and build drawings.
- The Battery, Cable, and Hose Cutting Associate will communicate the current product, process or material constraints or issues to the team leader.
- The Battery, Cable, and Hose Cutting Associate must be accustomed to physical tasks for long periods of time. This includes, but not limited to, standing, kneeling, lifting to 40lbs, bending, using your hands, and working with various materials.
- Must have basic computer knowledge and basic math skills.
- When asked, the Super Unit Assembly Associate will assist with training team members to develop job knowledge and improve performance.
- Maintain daily labor tracking records and participate in daily cleaning/5S routine.
- On occasions, management will ask the Super Unit Assembly Associate to perform other related duties to maintain the integrity of the production goal.
Qualificationsducation and Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent required
