Join Our Team as a Relief Concierge!
Cleantech is seeking a dependable and professional Relief Concierge to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will provide exceptional customer service, respond to client needs, and ensure smooth daily operations. The primary purpose of this position is to cover Concierge or Head Concierge shifts on short notice, including when staff are sick, on vacation, or otherwise unavailable. Please note that this role requires working at different locations and buildings each time.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Resident Service: Assist residents with various needs, including package handling, key management, fob activation/deactivation, and general inquiries.
- Access & Security Oversight: Monitor and control access to the property, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and guests.
- Trades Coordination: Facilitate communication with service providers and contractors for maintenance and repairs, authorizing access as needed.
- Financial Transactions & Record Keeping: Process payments (cheques and credit cards), issue receipts, maintain accurate financial logs, and ensure proper documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Amenities & Move Coordination: Manage amenity bookings, coordinate elevator reservations, and conduct pre- and post-move inspections to ensure compliance with building policies.
- Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks, including managing booking reservations, maintaining records, updating tracking systems, and assisting with resident communications and documentation.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies by alerting authorities and guiding residents in safety protocols.
- Building Maintenance: Report and coordinate minor maintenance issues, liaising with property management for resolution.
- Communication Liaison: Facilitate effective communication between residents, property management, and other relevant parties.
Requirements
- Willingness to work on weekends
- Flexibility and availability to cover last-minute shifts
- Proven experience in hospitality, customer service, or related fields; experience as a Building Manager is a strong asset
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required).
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, scheduling software, etc.)
Job Details
- Job Type: Employee
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hrs/ day
- Shift Timings: Shifts will vary; the employee may be required to cover morning, afternoon, or evening shifts across multiple locations, often on short notice
- Pay Rate: $23/hour
- Experience: 2–3 years as a Concierge required
- Location: Multiple locations, primarily Vancouver, Richmond, Coquitlam, and White Rock.
