In this role you will be involved in evaluating land and soils for characterization and contamination and then provide proposals for proper remediation. This role is a Mid to Senior level role and may at times require candidate to mentor and lead Jr. and mid-level engineers on projects.
This is a long-term DIRECT HIRE position in Phoenix, AZ and requires working on-site at company office.
Salary range for this position is $100,00.00 to $150,000.00 depending on experience.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- BS or MS Degree in Environmental Sciences or similar, 7-15 years experience
- Must have experience in soils/characterization, site contamination evaluation, remediation plans
- Experience with PHASE 1/evaluation of contamination sites, PHASE 2/Quantitative Analysis and sample evaluation a must, PHASE 3/Remediation plans and Design Matrixes is a plus
- Candidate must show due diligence in review of reports and must have strong background in proposal writing
- Experience on a variety of sites and projects including industrial facilities, chemical plants, storm water run-offs, septic/waster water facilities, lead/asbestos, airfields, and others
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor Jr. and mid-level engineers on projects and work effectively with contractors and vendors on projects
- Position is combination of office and field work
