Summary:
Dr. Knee is looking for 8 AU students to teach second graders about environmental science as part of a National Science Foundation funded field trip program. The environmental educator will work with a partner to teach one of four educational stations (focusing on watersheds, renewable energy, trees, and being a scientist) to second grade students from Prince Geroge’s County, Maryland. Tasks include attending a required training session, setting up your station, teaching your session 4 times per field trip, supervising the kids during lunch, and cleaning up the station once the field trip is over. All applicants must be able to pass a background check since you will be working with minors.
