About the job
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
As part of the Compliance, Safety and Risk Management (CSRM) team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program for our new data centers currently under construction. This includes, but is not limited to, managing EHS management systems, ensuring environmental compliance, and providing site oversight. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contractors to identify and address EHS concerns through proactive risk identification and mitigation.
You will help ensure the safety of the operations workforce and the protection of both the environment and the business. Furthermore, you will provide guidance on the implementation of new and critical EHS initiatives, contributing to the continuous improvement and iteration of our global programs.
