What Your Impact Is
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on multi-media environmental compliance, including air quality, water/wastewater, stormwater, hazardous materials, and waste programs.
Lead environmental assessments and audits, driving actionable improvements that reduce risk and enhance sustainability.
Develop and implement compliance strategies and management systems that set industry benchmarks.
Partner with ERM’s global network of experts to deliver innovative solutions for local and multinational clients.
What You’ll Bring
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
2+ years of experience in environmental permitting, compliance audits, and regulatory coordination.
Strong knowledge of Arizona Department of Environmental Quality requirements and applicable programs (CAA, RCRA, NPDES, CWA SPCC, EPCRA).
Ability to manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work at customer sites.
Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.

Key Responsibilities
Provide expert guidance on compliance issues related to air quality, wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste, and hazardous materials.
Manage environmental permits and approvals; prepare detailed reports and client presentations.
Lead environmental assessments and audits, ensuring adherence to ERM procedures and regulatory standards.
Support business development through proposal writing and client engagement.
Oversee plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, stormwater, EPCRA, NPDES, and wastewater programs.
Execute project management tasks, including regulatory assessments, QA/QC evaluations, and documentation of best practices.
Collaborate with ERM’s technology teams to provide specialized regulatory expertise.
