Our client is is an Australian owned and operated project management consultancy founded by industry leaders who thrive on assisting clients with complex challenges across HV, Substation, Electrical Infrastructure and Renewable Energy projects.
With the support of Enemix they are now looking for a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager to join their Melbourne team.
Job Description
As a Project Manager within this organisation you will be responsible for managing/delivering high voltage (HV), substation and renewable energy projects for our clients. The project manager will be responsible for the full project lifecycle from scoping/development to final handover ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required Australian standards.
This position would ideally suit an autonomous, self-driven individual with strong stakeholder engagement/management skills who enjoys working across a range of environments/projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, timelines and budgets
- Lead project teams and coordinate activities of various stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation plans
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Communicate with clients, contractors and other stakeholders
- Provide technical expertise in electrical engineering and renewable energy systems
- Assist with design, construction and commissioning activities
- Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations
- Prepare project reports and presentations
- Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Project Management Diploma
- Experience in project management of high voltage, renewable energy and carbon neutrality projects
- Management and leadership acumen
- Great written and verbal communication
- Problem-solving skills
- Proactive and organised
- Understanding of relevant regulations and standards
- 5-10 years experience
